Since Sobeys took over some things have changed. I noticed ALL apples are $2.99/ pound. Carrots are only sold prepackaged- in large plastic bags, or in a group with a rubber band around it. I tried the latter one day. Tasted really bland. Avocados are about $2.99 each every day. What happened?

I prefer Market on Yates or The Root Cellar. Delicious carrots! It’s easy to tell what is fresh because they leave some green on the end. Almost like dessert. Something in produce is always on sale at either store.

They have great deals on healthy foods. I especially like the wide selection of nuts, like pecans, walnuts, cashews and almonds.
