A sea food restaurant with a traditional fish and chips take away counter. I had a takeaway chip roll, one of my favourites, and in my view, a good litmus paper test. It was a good size portion and some very nice chips in a proper crusty bread roll. One massive downfall for me was that it's not self-service salt and vinegar. I can't emphasize it greater, How does anyone else know how much salt and vinegar I prefer, I'm a grown adult who doesn't need to nanning : its insulting. Hence, the lower scoring. The roll and chips were banging, and the service was swift. It can be found off Central Street in a pedestrianised square behind a small park.

Working in the area, I was pleasantly surprised to bump into this cafe just when I was beginning to think I would have to reside to have a cold sandwich from the local mini market. At first glance, it doesn't look too inviting. Once inside, it felt better. The food is Bob on for a workman's cafe, the staff are super friendly to add, the food is at a very reasonable price considering the area and that's the reasons for the 5 stars. Its one for recording on Google maps for later .

This small cafe is on white Cross Street with Banner Street. White Cross Street is a foodie street with food stalls out most days.
I popped in for a quick bacon roll towards the end of the day. It was quiet, but I imagine it gets rammed at lunchtime. The food was OK, and the prices seemed in line with the area.

Went for Breakfast. It gets very busy with people being turned away. We had the 'rise and shine' with 'A perfect morning' which we shared and was enough to last us through to lunchtime. Only two people serving so there was a bit of a wait to order but worth it. Its more of the continental breakfast place rather than 'English Breakfast ' the food is fresh and tasty 😋 with good portions which is why we shared the order. I recommend a visit especially if your hanging as the coffee seems to be just the cure 😉
