Crayola Experience
2023 Aug 21
Fun experience. The kids loved it. Would recommend going as a day trip. The Photo Booth in the gift shop while expensive, got us some of the must fun pics with our toddlers. Was perfect after a Day with Thomas which is 5 mins away in Phillipsburg, NJ.
National Aquarium

Large aquarium with great animal—sharks, turtles, sting rays, dolphins— we had a great time. It is dark and strollers are not allowed. They do have stroller parking. Overall we had a great time. Plus the gift shop had a nice array of items for the adults and kids.
Great museum. Very large. Great for social distancing. The kids dedicated area is nice but a little dated. The dinosaur 🦕 area is great. And lots of interactive places for the kids to experiment, learn, touch & feel. Going around 1030 was nice - not that many people in the museum—it felt like we had it for ourselves. And if you’re a member at other like museums from your state, use the reciprocity - helped us get in for free.
The best children’s museums we’ve been to yet (and we’ve been to a few) great activities in each floor. Multiple areas to play with different concepts. Love the toddler (3 and under room). All around a place the kids played for hours and could play many more.
Amazing space for my twins toddlers (3 years old) We didn’t get to all the exhibits. Will definitely go back. Water play areas was great—do be careful floors get wet. Fossil area was fun. There’s a whole multimedia section in the back with a green screen. The tot area is fun too. We noticed a birthday space as well. Food wise the cafeteria has good food. The pizza was solid, wraps, chicken nuggets. I would say “no” to burgers. It’s nice for the kids to play in the outdoor area while eating there.
