This museum is a real treasure. Three really big galleries.

Amazing wine selection and deep knowledge about artisan wine from around the world. It's run as a real mom-and-pop kind of business. They have a huge selection are very helpful in helping me find the right wine. They never push the expensive options so I really appreciate that. I am also interested in biodynamic wine and that's one of the specialties that they carry a lot of - most artisan wine shops don't.

It’s not just a museum but also a small shopping mall in a really cute old-fashioned style, like you’re walking down the street in the good old Gidai Geki days. The museum shop is great and there’s restaurants also. The annex next-door used to be a bank and they do special exhibitions. Kyotographie holds an exhibition here every April and May as part of the citywide photography festival
