Alamut Castle
2019 Nov 05
It is an ancient castle built by Hasan Sabbah in 11th century, to defend his religious cult (Ismailieh) from Holagu Khan. Holagu was a Mongolian ruler who conquered much of western Asia. Hassan Sabbah was founder of Ismaili state and his military group are know as Order of Assassins and they were famous for training eagles. The location of Alamut castle is on top of a 2100 meters hill witch makes it very hard to conquer. And it is very beautiful to look at because you'll be able to see effects on the mountains from last ice ages.
Tekiye Moaven Al Molk
2019 Aug 13
It was built by Qajar dynasty at the end of 19th century in the city of Kermanshah . Less than a decade later this magnificent building was completely demolished by a group of constitutionalists who set it on fire . It took architects so many years to repair the structure . In 1940 Mirza Hassan Khan Moaven-Ol Molk bought this place and the surrounding area to add another two parts , Abbasieh and Zeinabieh , in order to welcome more people to come to pray and participate in religious ceremonies .
Mo'aven-Ol Molk's Tekieh is known for its remarkable and exceptional tiling . Carved and painted images with natural colors on the tiles , including battles scenes of Mohammad , imam Ali and Karbala , along with some ancient images of Achaemenid king and Persepolis and some Shahnameh characters.
