Jekyll Brewing

Pleasant brewery! The location itself is very nice including the surrounding area. I’ve been to the Woodstock location before so knew what to expect beer-wise. Everything is solid for its style; had the kölsch and hazy IPA this time. My bill was almost $19 for two beers and that’s before tip, so this location is a bit one and done for me as I drove out of my way to check it out. Staff are friendly and attentive and the bathrooms were clean. Overall, solid brewery in a nice space, but expect to pay a bit more.
Six Bridges Crabapple

Solid second location for Six Bridges! First time at the Crabapple location. The surrounding area and taproom are very nice. Staff were friendly and attentive as well. I ordered the ‘Love Tractor’ (Peach Milkshake IPA) twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve had most of their beers before so didn’t feel like I needed to venture out too much. The taproom is relaxing with a calming ambiance, but is also small compared to their original location; there’s a decent amount of outdoor seating as well. No parking lot, so I parked in the marketplace spot for a bunch of businesses just down the road and had no issue finding a spot; expect a 30 second to one minute walk depending on how quick you hustle.
Good spot! This place is only open one day a week to the general public, and that’s on $5 Friday’s. The tap list is always changing, and it’s IPA heavy, which is not a bad thing. It’s mostly GA breweries being featured, but does have some heavy hitters from out of state as well. I don’t come for the live music only the cheap beer. There’s minimal seats inside, but they are quite comfy. The A/C doesn’t always keep up with the heat, so expect to sweat a bit more during the summer months. Staff is friendly and quick with a drink. Overall, it’s a great place with some top quality IPAs.
First time at Pontoon Brewing Company. I enjoyed every style I tried. My favorite being the barleywine, which is one of the best barleywine’s I’ve had in a long time. The blonde ale was also very solid too. The space itself is very welcoming and comfortable. Lots of tables, couches, and chairs to choose from and the lighting is also very relaxing. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Surprising lack of IPAs, which I strangely appreciate, but it’s a good place to visit even if that’s your thing.
Decided to visit this brewery on a whim as I was in the area. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience. Melanie was the server and she was very friendly and attentive. The views of main street are very nice as well. I’ve been to so many breweries that it’s hard to rate the beer anymore, but overall everything was very tasty. Nothing truly stands out as world class, but nothing is bad either. My favorite was the Belgian strong golden ale. While here, I also tried the Hefeweizen, hazy IPA, sour, and saison. The free popcorn and games are a nice touch. There’s a good amount of parking, but it’s meant for multiple locations and could run out when it’s busy, so plan for that as well.
