My children absolutely love playing on this playground! My four year old loved that there was enough to do between both the tot lot, swings, and the big kid playground to keep him busy the whole time. He is a climber and loved that there were so many different climbing structures to challenge him and entertaining. I loved that there was shaded benches right in the center and the trees on one side of the playground completely shaded the tot lot area. There is even an area with musical/percussion instruments and we never got bored. Looking forward to going back again, but we have to get there early to beat the heat in the summer. The big kid playground and the swings have no shade and it's easy to get overheated quickly. Another plus side is that there was plenty of street parking right by the gate. When we arrived there was no one else around, so we had the place to ourselves for almost an hour before anyone else showed up.
This was a great place to take my 4 year old! He loved the playground, especially all of the different climbing structures that he was able to challenge himself on. We also enjoyed exploring the skateboard park that is right next to the playground area. I appreciate the fact that it is fenced-in to keep little ones kids safe. There was a small shady area at the playground with a picnic table where we were able to enjoy our snack. There is only street parking and despite being in a residential area, traffic was driving much faster than the 25 mph speed limit, so definitely hold the hand of your little one while crossing the street and walking on the sidewalk. Otherwise, this is a really great, clean playground that we enjoyed playing on. The only downside is it did not have a Tot Lot or any swings, so there wasn't much for my one year old to explore other than the steps, but she had fun too.
We were fortunate enough to get a tour from Ann and catch the Health in Laurel exhibit before it's gone at the end of the year. One of the best parts of the museum is the kid's area in the lower level. My son will be 3 in March and he loved reading some of the books, exploring the kitchen area, & playing with the train. Next year, he will really be at the perfect age to explore more of the historically accurate toys they have. This museum is just a few miles from our house and I'm really looking forward to next year's exhibit showcasing Laurel's 150th year!

My son loved the swings, sand play area, and the play structure! He's 2.5 yrs old and after 2 hours of playing, he still wasn't bored! We had a blast!

We had a great family picnic under a shady tree. After, our 4-year-old and our 1-year-old both loved exploring the playground area. It was perfect with both a tot sized and big kid playground, seings, and a sandbox. There were lots of people out on the beautiful day, but almost everyone wore masks or kept their distance. We had a great time!
