You can spend a lot of time here. Lovely gardens, ice cream, labyrinth, and the puppies are the best part! The Chateau was cool, and spotting the Lego was fun, and the best Lego was the deer in the deer horn room. Again I could have stayed all day and watched the dogs.
We stopped in for a drink before dinner and were really happy that we did. The staff was very helpful and patient and offered to interpretate the menu to assist us with our small plate. Ohhh, I wish we weren't going to dinner as we would have eaten more small plates, we had the pickled egg, and it was delicious. The venue is small and cute, with a good vibe. The staff helped us select some great natural wine, and we had a taste and picked what wine we wanted to go with, and that was very handy and lovely. We will visit again when in the area next.
Fun, fun, and more fun! We just stumbled across this bar and there are so many games to play, and the stock exchange pricing is fun, and they have the coolest Lego Star Wars display, and you have to check it out.
So charming. The château visit had English notes in each room. No booklet provided, so no waste. Was cool to see the props and learn more about the history in the area. Ensure you go out to the garden and walk all the way back, more to see and explore....very cool tree house.
Huge!!! This château requires lots of walking and time. The gardens are a highlight and beautifully looked after. Great views of the garden throughout the entire château, don't forget to visit the garden at the back that has a pond and some swans, very peaceful.
