If I could give Hillside Animal Hospital and their team a thousand stars out of 5 I would!! I was going to Hillside for my pug Kiki for a little bit, but this vet really stood out me after my little Pomeranian Bear got bit by a rattlesnake. Bear was extremely close to losing his life because of this bite, and of course extremely at risk of losing his leg. I knew that I had to take Bear into Hillside as soon as he started to rapidly decline after his night in the ER. ( would not eat, would not drink water, walk, respond to us, go to the bathroom, etc...) Hillside took action the minute I called them and told them what was going on. Bear looked AWFUL the first day he went into Hillside, his leg was completely black and he was running a fever along with fighting a large infection on his leg. My husband and I were so traumatized with the experience, but the receptionists and especially Mickayla the vet tech put our hearts at ease the first day we had to leave him there. Dr. Kate Radosevich was extremely kind and informative throughout that first day; she would call and update me every second that something new came up and kept me up to date on everything that Bear was going through. They gave us everything we needed to get started on Bear's recovery process, along with all the incredible treatments they did on Bear to make him do an absolute 180 in his attitude and health (even just in that first day! they got him to eat and go to the bathroom hours from when we dropped him off!!) The following appointments with Dr. Nicola Council were just as extraordinary, they are SO attentive and out-of-this world. Bear is a rescue who had no socialization a majority of his life, he is a very nervous and scared dog; I knew I did the right thing when it was obvious he LOVED these people. When I tell you that they have singlehandedly nurtured him back to health and completely healed his leg in as little as 7 DAYS, I would not have believed you before I experienced it first hand.

Every single person Bear had an interaction with was an absolute blessing, ESPECIALLY Mickayla the vet tech who was there EVERY appointment to help Bear, Dr. Kate, and Dr. Council. It is so obvious that everyone at Hillside Animal Hospital is doing this because they love the animals they treat. PLEASE take your animals here if you need a primary vet or any treatment at all for your loved ones, it is the best thing you can do for your furbabies.

I will attach pictures of how his journey began versus how he was today leaving Hillside Animal Hospital, it's an absolute miracle. I can't recommend Hillside Animal Hospital and their entire team enough.
