An intermediate experience. It's very old world, the decor is outdated, the staff are very good but it feels formal. We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairing. The food had highs and lows, some plates were excellent (for example the quail), others mediocre to poor (eg the prawn with macaroni: the fumet was excellent, the macaroni way overcooked and not finished in the sauce). Given the price they charge for a mixed experience, I wouldn't return. You can do better elsewhere.

The food was good but didn't meet my expectations. While there were a couple of highlights, there was very little that was surprising and that I would want to repeat. I feel ungenerous writing this review because really most things were good, and the service was topnotch, but for two Michelin stars I expect delight, and that was largely missing from the food.
