An excellent museum for the history of telecommunications. It is a great, historic location, well stocked with exhibits and artefacts from the whole history of the site and the technology. The underground bunker was the highlight for me bringing the war and the importance of the place to the fore. Great for kids with hands-on introductions to some of the principles behind telecoms technologies.
It's not a large museum but very nicely laid out presenting the history of policing from the very beginning. Sited in the old Bow Street police station and beside the Magistrates Court. When I visited (as they opened on a Sunday), it was very quiet. If you are in the Covent Garden area and have any interest in the history of the police right back from the Bow Street Runners then this is wort a visit.

Well lit, clean (with no pee stink), freshly painted, and I'm lead to believe, manned. Sadly closed after 10:00pm and not open again until 7:00 am. A workin lift is also available. It's a 10 minute walk to the train station but just 3 mins to the high street. If you need a car park in Slough this might be the one.
Cramped parking , smells bad but easy access to Slough railway station now so many of the other car parks have been closed.
