I say this place is justifiably expensive, and I’ll gladly will spend time and money here on my future visits to Mexico City.

Belize is a real hole. I don't know why cruise ship picked this dump as a stop. By all means it is the absolutely the worst destination in the Caribbean I have ever been to, and I have been to many. Partially because much of Belize sits at or below see level, most of this poor island is swamped. You can see many buildings that angled or half swamped. This island stinks. The rotten stench is almost everywhere. The city is a joke, poor and ugly.
People are good, friendly, kind and open. Many beautiful faces.
This welcome sign is ridiculous, especially in relation to the similar one in Amsterdam. Never Belize again.
