Visited Kaysuya on a weekend early evening. Already it was starting to get busy.
I ordered the curry pork loin while my partner ordered the curry chicken. The portion size was large and came fast. While the pork was cooked perfectly, the chicken was a touch dry. If you like your dish extra saucy, really consider ordering extra sauce (additional charge). By the time I was done, I didn't have a drop of curry to spare. The total meal came around $50 for two people with tax and tip.
Overall, food was great, service was attentive and I would definitely come back.

Get a reservation in advance, dress appropriately and come hungry. There is a lot of food and it is all amazing.
This is a 12 course traditional Japanese Kaiseki and not at all just tasting menu portions. Each dish is complex and the whole ensemble is very very well thought out. Heavy courses are followed by light ones and the chefs explain each of the dishes in detail.
The menu changes by season to infuse the ingredients that are in season. Definitely an experience that is worth trying. I look forward to coming back.
