Honestly , food was pretty good but service did not live up to its 3 stars fame and 440 euro per person price tag. Been to many better and more worth it 3 stars restaurants.

The caviar, langoustine, and salad were very delicious. Venison slightly overcooked for me, i had better ones in Japan. However, We felt that dishes here are too colorful and could be slightly more refined (shiso red green ball, green apple foam , yellow meringue dessert) and the desserts are very subpar, nothing amazing.

Service was so bad, never have we been to a 3 stars restaurants being treated so rudely. The younger sommelier (in the picture) rushed me while i was still taking a look at the wine list and food menu with such a sour look on his face. Another staff rudely placed the coffee and sugar pot for my sister at the end of the meal while being so nice to another French couple . Only one staff who claimed to be“Louis Marie” was nice to us throughout the night. Sommeliers weren’t attentive enough to fill our wine glasses when they are almost empty. Perhaps they are racist to only Asians?

Overall, i would not recommend you going here. Very unprofessional staffs.

Second time back at Barr but still not impressed with the food here. Ordered both cold and hot dishes for appetizers but were served at the same time. Our hot appetizers were already cold when served. Pork shnitzel had a slight smell. Venison was quite tough even though we only requested one out of 3 pieces to be more medium well and the other 2 normal doneness as per chef’s cooking. The other 2 pcs of venison were so dry like a medium well.
Wine selections were okay.

The only great dishes of the night were the hasselback potato and pancakes.
