If you visit San Pedro then the pinnacle of the beauty of San Pedro is at point Furman lighthouse. It is such a beautiful area with a theater and overlook spots dotted throughout the cliffside. You can even go to the Korean friendship bell up the hill if you want to visit a tourist attraction that's just a few hundred feet away. If you keep going north after point Furman Park then you will eventually go to the road again through the nice houses in the neighborhood. It doesn't go very far unless you start going uphill so make sure you have a powerful enough scooter or electric bike if you go past Point Fermin towards the north. I believe there is a dirt trail that can cut through to get to the next beach sidewalk but I haven't had the time to explore the trails at the end of the road from the Point Fermin lighthouse going north.

Great place to go scooter riding. You can scooter all the way down to the boardwalk and eat at restaurant, then you can scooter to the lighthouse, across the bridge to the Queen Mary and the Rusty submarine. There's so much to see and do in such a small yet beautifully open spaced and well maintained and designed area. It's my go-to place to get away to the ocean because it's close, and be able to scooter without having to go on a road. Also pricey, but good restaurants at the boardwalk if you're hungry as well as side walk vendors along the beach.

One of the best discount stores in Carson. Has just as big if not bigger of a selection than most 99 cent stores. The cashier is one of the friendliest in town. Huge selection of items including backpacks fold out chairs tools, car supplies. There's a selection of clothing including underwear pajamas and some women's wear. There is nothing that this discount store does not have. There's also a nice selection of Christmas items including beautiful Christmas displays. They also have items for infants and a good selection of electronic items behind the counter. You name it they've got it! Plus, this place isn't half as busy as the big 99 cent stores. You'll get through the line fast. That's cuz people don't know how much of a variety of items this store has.
