Portions were huge, local ingredients, good cooking, great flavours! Only thing I didn’t like was the mushy brocolli, which was the same in other restaurants. I think probably Parisians prefer their brocolli soft whereas I like mine with a good bite. Google spend was not accurate though, I thought I would be spending much lesser than I did.
Perhaps I expected stronger smokier flavours in the dishes since they marketed as cooking using wood fire. While lacking in the flavour explosions which could be tweaked quickly, the execution was perfect. Every dish was perfectly cooked and presented. A little pricey overall though. But I supposed it has got to do with the small private counter dining area.
