Warm, intimate Italian restaurant in an old home with a very cozy four-person bar. Walked into a Monday $12 pasta deal by accident so that may have changed how much time we had the table for (they were busy with reservations so only had an hour to eat.) Service was good but a little chaotic. Many people towards the end at the table all sort of rushing around us to get things cleaned for dinner. No ones fault, just came on a busy day. I got the bolognese and upgraded to pappardelle. The sauce was very good, but the noodles were overworked and just falling apart as I ate them. The carbonara was more of an alfredo, and I did not enjoy it. We’ll be back when we have more time to savor the atmosphere and try some more menu items.

Gorgeous, historical theater. Every seat is a good one, but it can get a little crowded. Seats are pretty close together. Great staff & the bar has everything you need. Love seeing shows here. Parking a block away is generally validated.

Very beautiful, intimate place on 16th street mall w/ two neighboring sister restaurants. Seriously, the interior is blue and gorgeous. Really solid happy hour. Had a decent amount of food & a bottle of Prosecco for a good price. They do tack on a 6% BOH fee; I wish they better explained that when they drop the bill. Did not like the oysters at all. The bartender dropped them off and said “they are freshly shucked.” I hope so, yes. Small and very salty and nothing to eat them with either so we used a butter knife. Foie gras was interesting… like a weird little dessert with strawberries & raspberry jam. Definition of savory and sweet. Deviled eggs and meatballs were great! Worth a try.
