The Chipotle staff was friendly, but there's room for improvement in table cleanliness. Despite this, the portion sizes were satisfying. Moreover, the convenience of ample free parking added to the positive aspects of the experience.
Smorgasburg Miami
2023 Oct 03
This was my first visit to Smorgasburg Miami, having previously explored the New Jersey Smorgasburg. If you're looking to indulge in a variety of cuisines, Smorgasburg Miami is an absolute must-visit. During our visit, we sampled a couple of vegetarian options and a delightful Pineapple Pina Colada, which was particularly scrumptious, especially considering it's a non-alcoholic drink.

The abundance of seating arrangements was a pleasant surprise. We came here after spending a few hours at Wynwood Walls, making it the perfect spot for a satisfying lunch. We opted for street-side paid parking at $5 per hour.

I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to this place to tantalize your taste buds with unique flavors. If memory serves me right, they only operate on weekends, so plan your trip accordingly.
Wynwood Walls

When in Miami, a visit to Wynwood Walls is an absolute must. You'll be captivated by the vibrant and stunning street art, unlike anything I've ever witnessed before. The art walls are simply beautiful and offer a perfect backdrop for countless photo opportunities. Admission costs $12.84 per adult, and they also offer an additional $8 guided tour option.

For those seeking a hands-on experience, you can easily sign up to participate in wall spray painting. It's an incredible and unexpected experience that truly highlights the beauty and intrigue of this art form. You can easily spend a few hours here with your family, and if you happen to visit on the weekend, you can indulge in a variety of delicious foods at the adjacent Smorgasburg food festival.

One drawback to note is that parking in the area is exclusively paid street parking.
Land of Make Believe

I'm not satisfied with their policy. The park is lovely and seems tailored for children, but I strongly dislike their policy for kids under 3. They don't charge anything for toddlers, but they limit their access to many rides, even if they meet the height requirements. They only inform you about this restriction when you purchase tickets, but they don't communicate that there are many rides which toddler is going to miss. There are several rides for toddlers with a height requirement of 36 inches or above, and most of these rides require parental supervision, making them safe for young children. It's frustrating that the park management doesn't inform parents in advance or offer the option to pay extra for their eligible toddlers. It would be much better if they explained this policy clearly during admission or through advertising. Additionally, there should be an easier way to purchase tickets for children within the park, considering that most parents visit with their kids in mind. It's disappointing when kids can't fully enjoy the rides they are eligible for due to this policy.

We paid $33 per adult, and the rate for kids aged 3 and older is the same. The water park is fantastic, and kids can have a great time there. The staff is friendly. However, on busy days, finding a parking spot nearby can be a bit challenging. When it comes to food options, there are various choices, but for vegans and vegetarians, aside from fries and popcorn, there are limited options. It's advisable to bring enough cash with you because most transactions within the park are cash-only.

A tip for parents: If your child is under 3 but meets the 36-inch height requirement, consider buying an extra ticket so that your toddler can enjoy the rides to the fullest. It's frustrating that the management assumes parents are trying to get a free ride for their toddlers. In my experience, most parks restrict entry based on height, not age. If a child is allowed to enter, they should be able to enjoy all eligible rides based on their height.
Bronx River Forest

One of the finest zoos, sprawling over 265 acres, the Bronx Zoo offers ample parking at the Bronx River Forest area. Our parking fee was $20. If you plan to visit on a free day, it's wise to secure your tickets in advance through the link provided in the FAQ section of their website. While the chosen time slot often doesn't impact entry, the decision rests with the entrance staff on the day of your visit. It's worth noting that during the summer, free days tend to draw large crowds. Consider enhancing your experience by upgrading your free ticket for $17, which grants access to unlimited rides on the hop-on-hop-off battery train, the Jungle World exhibit, the monorail, and the Gorilla section – all included in the upgrade.

To thoroughly explore the entire park, allocate a minimum of 4 to 5 hours.
