I’ve used this location several times without an issue but in recent months I truly feel like my applications were tossed. I had a receipt for the medical application which was my saving grace and ended up calling the city. Speaking with a supervisor does nothing but annoy the staff.

My second application was tossed as well because the case worker was annoyed and she asked where my baby was. I asked a valid question since my child was a newborn but still in the hospital (NICU). Well I found an electronic letter stating that DHS received my SNAP application and I was awarded but some how my case was still closed. Stop being spiteful to people who are coming to a city entity for help when they need it. Families who make time to apply and submit documents should not have their applications tossed due to a case workers attitude!
I have literally tried my best to work with who ever answered the phone at this organization. However I wasn’t treated fairly or with any kind of respect. Maybe the program is helpful to others but my experience was really terrible.
The dentist was nice and filled a cavity for me. However the front desk staff is really tough to deal with. I literally had to kinda beg to get seen within a week. Same with cleanings...Im a nurse if I asked to change the time or whatever it was a hard no and cancellation to rebook 2 months later.
Horrible experience trying to use this resource. I was fortunate enough to find help through DC although I owned property in Upper Marlboro MD at the time. My personal experience with the staff was very unprofessional and simply malicious.

Through this review I hope that training is done to combat the ignorance that I experienced through this call center. Anyone who truly needs help in PG county shouldn’t be refused or turned away, especially those who have no family or friends within the area.
