While laying over in Bloomington, I found this great restaurant just a short walk from my hotel, Fairfield Inn. They only serve breakfast & lunch.
I came in for breakfast on two occasions. Both times I had amazing Omelets. One was the Popeye, Spinach, Bacon & Swiss Cheese. The other time I had a Spinach & Feta, to which I added more Feta, Bacon & Mushrooms. Both Omelets were of good size, with Crispy Hash Browns & an English Muffin. Delicious & prepared perfectly.
They didn't have Green Tea, so I had my own Tea bags.
My amazing servers were Rain & Brooke. They both were very polite & professional, and took care of my every need.
Highly recommend the Cozy Table if you want a great breakfast.

This was our first visit to Flatlands. We chose it because it was in proximity to the event we were attending for New Years Eve, and because of all the good reviews. We definitely was not disappointed. For an appetizer, we chose the Chargrilled Oysters. They were amazing!
I had the Shrimp & Andouille Sausage Jambalaya. Delicious & had a nice kick to it. My date had the Seafood Risotto. It was also delicious. Our side dish was Grilled Asparagus. Everything was prepared perfectly.
Our wonderful server was Kwame. He was very polite & professional, and took care of our every need. Looking forward to another great dining experience at Flatlands......

While passing through Madison, and upon a recommendation from a close friend, we stopped into Takumi Japanese Restaurant. I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp with Vegetables. My Daughter had the California Sushi Rolls, with a House Salad. Everything was absolutely delicious & prepared perfectly. If you have a Gluten Allergy, the staff here go the extra mile to insure you don't get anything with Gluten. Our wonderful server was Ika. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetie. We will be back!
