Searching for the budget food options in Meena Bazaar, we found the Tasty Village which is favourite spot for bachelors. If it’s favourite for them, then the food will be good. Read the reviews and thought of ordering. We ordered Chicken Dum Biriyani and Chicken Fry Biriyani. The rice and the masala were really tasty. Loved the dim Biriyani than the fried one. Will order more as it is really affordable and food tastes really better.
Desi LunchBox – The name reminds me of the lunchbox of my school days. Similar to that but with a different concept, Desi LunchBox is a selection of healthy choices, authentic dishes, and some creative culinary creations. The good thing about this restaurant is they tried to bring back some dishes we used to enjoy during our childhood days but in their own way. I was super excited to try their menu along with a couple of my blogger friends.
We’ve tried the Curry Chutti before from the Karama branch and we liked their food. So this time when we were at the Qusais area, we thought of trying the Curry Chatti in that area.
We ordered the Biriyani Combo that contains One small bucket of Biriyani, Chicken Fry, Raitha, Chutney and Pappad. The food was delivered on time. The quantity was pretty good, that 3 people can easily have those. The chicken fry was the best among the lot.

Friday calls for Biriyani, that too in my own words only ‘Malayali Biriyani’. The taste of our own Kerala Biriyani is really different and I was craving for one since a very long time. So, ordered one Chicken Biriyani and one Beef Biriyani along with Chicken 65.
The food was absolutely amazing in terms of taste as well as the quantity. Chicken 65 was the best among the lot with the masala being really tasty.
The food is worth every single penny.
Was not able to take much pictures as we were busy eating. I would really like to try more dishes from the menu and explore the taste of Malabar.

In for a quick coffee fix before boarding the flight. Bought Samosa and coffee for AED14. Got a set of 2 samosas with mint chutney and tamarind sauce. The mint chutney was spicy enough and in the other hand the tamarind one was sweet. Liked the coffee as it was perfectly sweetened. Should say this place has huge rush all the time.
