First I've every heard of Glendon Forest and guess I don't get out enough or it's only well known to locals and dog walkers. Very nice area to walk or hike. Some bikes were seen it the area but be tough to navigate unless mountain bikes. Over all very nice and lots of scenic areas.
It winds along a running creek that's not completely frozen over so you can hear the water all the way through.

The Dogs Off-Leash Area is fenced, allows Commercial Dog Walkers and has a separate area for dogs weighing less than 9.1 kg (20 lbs). This park also has bike trails and sports fields all around. Today I found an amazing trail just beyond the dog park that winds around a tree lined area and a creek on one side. It's fenced along both sides and very nice. At the very end it stops but fence is open in one area if people want to continue as many did today while I was there.
But back to the dog park. It's massive, like a little city for your dog.

Beautiful area to walk and or hike around. Very quite during the pandemic and only a few local area residents out walking there dogs. The parking is normally paid parking but today found out it is complementary. So even better for some morning exercise and take in the amazing views of the buildings and forested area backing the campus.
Many drives over O'Connor Drive Bridge over the years but first time hiking under it and amazing areas. Great trails and the creek is amazing. One very long hike today at over 20 km's but right in the center of the trip was O'Connor Drive Bridge. Then on the way back I noticed the sign, watch for falling objects. Looked up and this bridge is in need of some repairs but it was nice seeing the trails under for a change from our concrete city.
Great area and very nice dog park. Quiet and great views as I was passing by coming up out of Taylor Park and Creek
