Very, very delicious Italian food. We were lucky that this place was so close to our hotel. Make reservations as we saw a few people who walked in be turned away as there were no tables.
The ice trek was a highlight of our trip. A friend and I were the only ones who signed up, and it felt like a VIP private tour of the glacier! Simon was our guide, and he was incredible. If you have an opportunity to do this activity, ask for Simon.
Booking was easy. We showed up to the location, then went on our merry way to do the ice trek.
We got to jump through (small) crevasses, rappel down some ice, explore a new cave, drink water from the glacier, and had the best tea by a lagoon. We were also lucky to have incredible weather that afternoon!
Thank you Bigfoot Patagonia, and especially Simon, for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

We stayed at the premium camping in the Refugio Los Cuernos. It was clean, and well maintained. It was nice to sleep with the sound of the waterfall nearby as well. We actually preferred the premium camping to their bunk beds which looked cramped. The staff were super helpful. The bathrooms and showers were clean, working well and had hot showers. The food was also good and plentiful. If youre buying snacks/drinks at the bar with cash tho, they prefer small bills.
