Short hike to the lake is closed. Very nice view of towers from this stop.
Must visit place while in the park. It’s easy hike from the parking lot. Entry to upper parking lot closes at 4.30 pm. Did not know this and had to park at the cafeteria parking lot and walk to upper lot and then to the waterfall. Additional 15 minutes one way walk but doable.
Nice place to know the history. On the way out, exited from the back to climb up to see the opening of the cave. It was nice easy hike and worth it. Also hiked the trail towards the swamp and bird blind. Entry is free if you have annual National park pass. Saw elk grazing while walking out of the park.
Hike is bit strenuous if not in best of health or practice. Views from the top are amazing and was glad that we did choose to complete the hike. It took around 45 minutes round trip to the too.
Quaint little town to visit, great history. Not much to see around but quick visit recommended.
