The Pie Room

Ordered via Pie Hole for takeaway

The young kid was great, friendly and accommodating, came here twice and was served by him.

Baked goods are my weakness and found out their sausage rolls were available, meaty and juice with flakey pastry. You gotta have tomato sauce with your pies/sausage rolls.

First of all, great service. The staff were friendly and helpful, they come back during your meal to check up on you and ask how your meal was.

Ordered the Canadian Pancake, loaded with cheese, mushroom, bacon the pancake was huge. Recommended to be shared if you are not a big eater or order a different one so you can share with each other.

Also ordered the Dutch pancake with butter and sugar, delicious plump little pancakes.

Definately worth a visit for PANCAKES IN AMSTERDAM!

Pub-style eatery, moderate foot traffic with 80% of the restaurant occupied, constant demand with family.

I noticed the majority were ordering pasta and the rest were drinking with snacks.

*No English menu, staff can speak minimal English.

I ordered a Sausage and cheese platter, and lasagna for lunch. Overall the food was good, lasagna was baked to order in a clay pot/bowl, it was tasty and worth the wait.

This place is known for the beers and snacks, they have minimal hot food selections.

Warning: If you can't wait for 20-40mins, come early and avoid peak hour, which is 1200-1430.

Man with great passion about cheese, and customer service.

He will talk to you and treat you like you are the only one in the shop, he will help you find the cheese and flavour for your baguette. Not only that he will talk to you and get to know you, he is also well versed in multiple languages too.

Freshly baked baguette, various cheeses, fruits, nuts, meat and his special honey. If you like sweet or savoury, let him know.

The spicy cheese with the soft cream cheese, fruits and honey was a beautiful combination.

The wait will be long, this is due to his customer service where he educates you about cheese and he tries to identify your taste and offer the right style.

A few customers came back many times and were willing to wait, be mindful it will be 5-10min per customer and since he works alone it may take longer if people order large bulks.

Worth the wait for his beautiful cheese and flavour combos.
One of the best fine dining in London, ensure you have minimum 3 hours to dine.

Service was immaculate and attentive, staff were friendly, helpful and informative. They were all knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the service.

The food was fantastic, each dish has a thought process and plan, from texture to taste and to origin. The snacks alone were worth the visit, pretty as they are and tasty with every bite.

Progression of the meal was in sequence with flavours and a story, I ordered additional supplements because I have to try it since I am not a local. Additional were "All About Caviar" and "Wagyu with truffle", for the wagyu dish they make it rain with the truffles.

Ensure you don't eat before hand, skip breakfast or lunch, so you have room for the whole experience.

Overall, I would visit again if I ever come back to London, or perhaps Chef Adam may want to have a "Pop up" in Sydney.
