After our hike in Minnewaska State Park and strolling through the Antiques Barn, my wife and I spent our 2nd Wedding Anniversary dinner here at The Parish. At first, we thought it was just a tavern, but surprisingly as soon as the doors were open, we are amazed by the immediate greeting and the delicious smell. Paulina was very nice, attentive, and simply awesome in serving us and explaining the specials of that evening. We enjoyed both our Chicken and Steak Specials along with our drinks and dessert! We highly recommend this gem!
First off the unique exterior facade literally stands out. The structure jetting out from the corners and the integrated tall glass looks cool. Secondly, the food and service are amazing. The servers were attentive and the food was delicious. The calamari, T-bone Steak, and Lamb Kebob were delicious! Nice lunch after seeing the Cherry Blossoms!
My wife and I and our friend came here to try Russian food. What we got was the most unforgettable experience and wonderful night! First off, the atmosphere is unique with a nice bar at one side facing a wall of books. Gives off a homey atmosphere. This leads up to a welcoming hostess, Marina. She was stupendous! She gave us several complimentary shots! We enjoyed the walnut shots, which was like a whiskey with a nice burning sensation. The food is both flavorful and presentation was alluring. We had the stuff cabbage, which is very big and tasty. And the grilled special, which is grilled lamb, chicken, meats, and veggies. The aroma and flavor of that is to die for! And its worth it with a group of 3 or 4. The three of us recommend to come here!
