This no frills burger joint has multiple locations across the city and they are just that. You come in for burgers, fries and a soda and that's exactly what you'll get. The burgers are smash burgers and are so tasty coming hot off the flattop with melty cheese and a soft bun. Prices are more affordable than places like Five Guys or Shake Shack so this is definitely my go-to if I wanna grab a quick burger. What's more is, they also serve Mexican Coca Cola so that's always a plus for me.
A spacious restaurant with an outdoor seating area located on the podium above Pacific Place. Not the most varied menu, but execution on each the items is fantastic. We have started with the Caesar salad, beef tartare and some truffle fries. The salad was fresh, but lacked a bit of a punch; adding black pepper really helped. The fries were hot and generously covered with cheese and some truffle paste. Beef tartare was amazing; not overly marinated in Worcestershire sauce like some other places and it was paired with a few slices of well toasted bread. The star of the show was the Australia Wagyu; charred on the outside and the temperate was cooked to perfection. Good quality meat and the sides that came with the steak were quite tasty as well. There typically isn't a huge crowd, so it's great for a quiet get together or just a chill dinner.
Located right off the main road of Lee Tung Avenue, Cooshti serves up a fusion of Asian and Western cuisines. Lunch is great as it offers a few options in terms of number of courses you'd like for your lunch set. I opted for the 2 course set, an appetizer and a main course. The appetizer of tuna on top of an inari sushi was tasty, but a bit difficult to eat because as you take your first bite, the inari begins to fall apart. Aside from that, the taste was spot on. My main was this massive chicken katsu sandwich. I had honestly expected a smaller sandwich, but this thing was way beyond my expectations in both size and taste. The katsu itself was fried to a perfect golden brown and the chicken itself was juicy and not dried out at all. The bun was a toasted brioche bun that complimented the chicken well. There was also a mound of fries that accompanied the sandwich and I would not finish them as I was so full from the sandwich already. The vibe here cozy, especially upstairs.
One of the best Greek places in Bayside. Flavors are robust, portions are generous and pricing is affordable. Souvlaki here is a must; the herbs and the marinade combined with it being roasted to perfect, you couldn't ask for a better meal. The staff were super nice and there was almost no wait to get a seat here. Parking is gonna be a pain as it's directly on Bell Blvd, but you might be able to find some street parking nearby. A must go for any Greek fans!
