I love to eat and The Pit gives you good portions. Their baby back ribs were everything and more!! And I got some of their chopped pork which I hear is better than Bill's in Wilson. I will say that the brisket was just okay, but once you smothered it in their house made barbecue sauce it took that brisket up to a whole other level. The meatloaf on the other hand was something to be reckoned with. I need to go back for the meatloaf and thr ribs! The sides were delicious as well. I loved the collards and the Mac and Cheese disappeared from my plate within the first few minutes. I miss it already. Will certainly have to make a trip back soon.

This review is based on my kids enjoyment. Sometimes the less enjoyable places for adults are the most enjoyable places for kids. My son liked the foam pit and the swing, he didn't enjoy the ladder as much. And of course he enjoyed all of the trampolines. I will say that the places needs EXTREME UPDATING ASAP! Things were broken, out of order, and there was dirt everywhere.

It's definitely bigger than the space in alexandria, and the staff are always on the move, keeping it clean. They offer beer and wine as well. The bathrooms are clean, and there is even a changing station for dad with little ones, which I really appreciate. Awesome spot. Please keep an eye on your kids though. This is a larger space and there are tons of little nooks and crannies where the kiddos can hide. For some reason, all the kids were after these golden ballpit balls. They hoarded them and transported/transferred them from place to place. You'd had thought they were currency. At one point they even caused a ruckus amongst the kids.

Everything was great. However, I feel like you need a waiver to play on the big kid side only because all of the little kids want to play on the big kid side. And they need to redo their sandbox. Other than that, it was a great playground. Friendly people all around. Someone brought their dog and it urinated in the little kids area. Not a fan of that and those parents thar allowed their kids to bring the dog in the first place. I'll be back soon as my kids were tired after we left and even my friends were tired and fell asleep on the couch.

They don't have a lot of products in stock. Not sure if the store is over shopped or if it's just that time of year where everyone needs a coat. What they do have in stock is pretty nice. It's basically a hit or miss.
