I tried their famous ice cream from here, the Kaybees Special. It was a lot for the price, more than enough for two people to have as dessert.
The nihari here is exceptional. The best nihari I've had by far, and possibly ever in Pakistan. Nalli Nihari (Braised Beef with Bone Marrow) in particular was so rich, creamy and filling that it made my taste buds crave it every morning. I had this dish around 11AM and I did not feel a tinge of hunger till it was 8PM.
It is an oily dish, that cannot be escaped. To escape from how rich and heavy it is, I recommend using a lemon or some greens to create some freshness. It will make cleaning the plate, even if you feel full, that much easier.
The braised beef falls apart in your hands, the individual fibres of the muscle simply are cooked to perfection, and the gravy is rich creamy and really heavy. With the addition of the Nalli, this dish reaches new heights. Highly recommended!
