I’m absolutely obsessed with their black sesame soft serve ice cream—I find myself craving it constantly. They offer other unique flavors like matcha, green tea, ube, and more and you can get them with toppings (I prefer it without anything). Today, I discovered that they also sell pints to go for around $11. It’s definitely one of my favorite ice cream shop chains in NYC.
I recently dined at Rice, a Thai restaurant in DC, and it was a delightful experience. The papaya salad with shrimp was perfectly spicy, and the chicken cashew dish, though excellent, could be even better with the addition of pineapple. While the service was nothing out of the ordinary, the food made up for it. I’d definitely recommend Rice and look forward to revisiting on my next trip to DC.
On a Wednesday night, I had dinner at Blue Sushi and Sake in downtown Omaha. Their menu had quite a variety, but I struggled to find something from their ‘special rolls’ that I truly liked. Even the roll I ended up choosing wasn’t exactly what I had in mind – the ‘SUPER ASPARAGUS’ with cooked salmon, cream cheese, asparagus, and eel sauce was just okay. I also tried the ‘spicy Gringo,’ which I didn’t enjoy at all. My colleague was also not impressed with his rolls.
However, I must say I really liked their house salad with sesame oil dressing. On the bright side, the service was excellent and very attentive.

After exploring Coronado I went to trident coffee and tried their MIDNIGHT VIETNAMESE-
sweetened condensed milk with organic mct oil and activated charcoal which at first tasted like a regular latte but then I noticed the unique flavor.

Bencotto is situated in Little Italy, San Diego, and we decided to give it a shot for dinner. We ordered the TAGLIATELLE with fromagi sauce and the Mediterranean salmon, but we swapped out the potatoes for pasta. The salmon was not my favorite. our overall experience was enjoyable.
