Dr. Kogan is the most knowledgeable and caring medical professional that I have ever encountered. I have seen many excellent, caring doctors, but Dr Kogan was at a much higher level.
I have covered the medical industry worldwide for many decades as head of research in very large investment funds. And the very wide and deep range of his knowledge is just astounding to me.
This has allowed him to identify and treat a situation was having horrible effects on me for 16 years. Years of seeing many doctors and countless, costly exams of all types were yielding nothing. This medical situation was getting worse and worse.
Yet, when I presented the very detailed admission file that they require at the front desk, he happened to come by to speak with the attendant.
I recognized him from the website and begged him to help me. I was desperate.
Right there and then, he asked for the file and very quickly went through it. One minute.
He then asked me three very pointed questions in succession as I answered each one and concluded that he had to test me for a very rare condition: BINGO!!!
HIs suspicions were confirmed, and they could have been ultimately tragic and the fatal if continued to go untreated.
The regular doctors do not know the symptoms city of this condition, they do not know the most advanced test that detects it, and they do not know how to treat it. Yet it is fairly common. So people might be developing abnormal behaviors, dementia, Alzheimer’s and die of it, undiagnosed.
What's more, old treatments were very invasive and risky. Yet he was ahead of that too: his easy treatment developed recently, with some pills, regular exercise and diet reversed the situation entirely in a couple of months, and left me in the best shape I had been in 40 years! Very very strong!
I cannot thank him enough. There is no substitution for deep knowledge and a passion for patient care, and Dr. Kogan epitomizes those qualities that we patients search in doctors.
