I have visited the Blind Pig multiple times over the last 5 years and always loved bringing visitors with me to experience the lovely and unique fairytale themed cocktails. They were what put the blind pig on the map for me, and made me want to return.
I booked a table for 2 at 7pm on Friday night, having not visited for a few months. Firstly the bar was not as busy as I expected which I thought unusual. Secondly I was disappointed that the menu had changed from one that was fun and unique, to a fairly standard "bougie" cocktail list. Thirdly I was quite disappointed with the service. It was quite difficult to get attention from the staff as the majority of the time they were stood by the doorway with their back to the room.
Please please please bring back the fairytale cocktail concept! It was what made the blind pig different to any other soho cocktail bar!
