I'm generally not into visiting these famous mansions except for the history they invoke, but my daughter loves them so we went here and the Vanderbilt mansion, which is more famous but I liked this one much better. For one thing, there wasn't a lot of construction going on. It was $25 a person, so it was not cheap. There were some very lovely things to see. The rich are different than you and I! The gift shop was small and we didn't find anything worth getting in it. There must be a lot of rooms they don't let the public see cause for a mansion, we really didn't see that many rooms, so I'm not sure why, but areas of the home are cut off. At the Vanderbilt mansion, for example, we got to see the kitchen and get an idea of a servants life. This house, if it had a kitchen, was not open on the tour.

This is a great book store!! It's got a large selection of books, a very helpful staff and first edition books signed by the authors. I purchased Erik Larsens latest book, signed 1st edition. Across the street, is a beautiful historic cemetery, which holds those who fought and gave their lives to form this country. A must see.

I absolutely love this National Park and I have been to a lot if them including Yellowstone. Obviously, this is much smaller. It's free. Most importantly, if it wasn't for the events that occured at this spot, all the othe National Parks wouldn't exist because it's possible we wouldn't be a Nation. The farmers and citizens who laid down their work and fought with their lives to form a Nation, to tell the British that we wanted Independence at any cost, can never be forgotten. This spot is beautiful and every person living in this country wouldn't be here if it wasn't for this spot. I visit it every time I'm in Massachusetts.

It's just a typical outdoor mall; however it has the best Nordstrom Rack I've ever been in.

What can you say? It's a Panda Express. I absolutely prefer this one to the one in Brentwood. The employees aren't all that friendly but they seem to work hard. It's fast food Chinese food. The place is usually clean and they always have the food ready.
