Macy’s is a large department store chain with locations across the United States. They offer a wide variety of products, from clothing and accessories to home goods and furniture. The staff provide excellent customer service and help customers find the products they need. I find it nice that the staff acts in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance with product selection. The New York one is the biggest in the world, filled with many wonderful goods and products.
For years dubbed the “most famous apartment building in New York City,” the Dakota has a spot in cultural history—film, celebrity, art, and otherwise—wholly unique in the world of architecture and even more unique in the world of urban dwellings. Architecture aside, it’s the residents themselves who have sealed the Dakota’s mainstream fame. Long a haven for artistic types, the Dakota has been home to Judy Garland, Lauren Bacall, Leonard Bernstein, Rosemary Clooney, and most famously, Yoko Ono and John Lennon, who was murdered just outside of the apartment gates in 1980. Today, the Dakota remains among the toniest addresses in the Big Apple, with its iron-clad board monitoring new resident applications.
The Flatiron Building is an enduring symbol of New York for more than a century, and its popularity with photographers and artists has made it an enduring symbol of New York. However, it is recently going through a renovation, hindering its beautiful architectural design. However, even with all of the scaffolding and construction going on, the building is still largely recognizable. The neighborhood the Flatiron is situated in, contains numerous establishments of high quality.
Standing as a shining beacon for the new Downtown, and a bold addition to the skyline, One World Trade Center is safe, sustainable, and artistically dynamic. Soaring to a symbolic 1,776 feet — it is the Western Hemisphere’s tallest building, and already an iconic New York landmark. It stands as a testament to the resiliency of Americans after the horrible events of 9/11. The tower offers stunning views of the skyline, which are all noteworthy.
A world class museum that offers iconic pieces of legendary art from legendary artists. The wait inside is long, with lines being stretched down the staircase and to the streets. Inside, there is a metal detector machine to detect threats. That part was a bit of a hassle, but is necessary given the gun laws and stuff. The interior of the museum is cramped with people, lining up to buy tickets and stuff, which is why I definitely recommend you buy the tickets beforehand. The exhibits on display are numerous and historically significant. There are works from many various ancient cultures and societies. I enjoyed the beautiful works of art from the periods 1800-1900. Additionally, the Roman busts are quite magnificent to look at. Overall, this is a must-visit museum.
