The kilim I took to be cleaned came back ruined, with the colours having bled throughout. I can understand that this happens, but instead of taking responsibility for the problem, the shop owner blamed me for bringing it in like that. He did refund me in the end, but the whole experience was very upsetting. I would recommend taking a photograph of any rug you take to be cleaned before handing it over.
