My husband and I are obsessed with this place for their karaoke! Great bartender Miriam - she’s an amazingly talented singer and funny! Love the karaoke DJs Chadwick and Rebecca! They’re also both excellent singers and really kind! Love the regular folks we see on Mondays for karaoke - such a fun group. Recently, the whole bar erupted in a group version of One Day More for the final karaoke song and it was truly the best.
My husband and I have decided this is our favorite dinner spot in NYC due to the exceptional and kind service, the expertise of the staff, the vibe and atmosphere of the place, and most of all, the truly delicious food.
Olivier has been an amazing source of wine knowledge for us and his recommendations are *always* on point. The glassware for the wine, too, complements the variety of wine offerings they have. My current favorite wine there is the cab franc in the middle-grade offerings of wine. The Mouvoudre is also fantastic.
My favorite thing to order here is always whatever soup du jour they have. There’s nothing better than a good restaurant that knows its soup. I’ve had chilled pea, tomato basil, and more recently the watermelon gazpacho and then honeydew gazpacho. To date, the honeydew gazpacho has been my favorite.
If you like duck, you must get the seared duck breast. It is divine.
I love the mini raviole dish they have. But my favorite is always whatever special they’re offering that suits my taste. Most recently I had an heirloom/goat cheese/melon/corn/basil salad that I loved as well as a seared cod/fennel/ratatouille dish that knocked it out of the park. The mussels are also good!
I highly recommend this spot for date night, for a great sexy vibe, for any celebration, and especially if you’re looking for good wine. Trés Magnifique.

Went here on a whim when a place right nearby that features Happy Hour Oysters was out of oysters and we were craving oysters! We went on a Sunday so we didn’t get Happy Hour prices — HOWEVER! Those oysters were HUGE! Plus the chicken and pancakes and the shrimp and grits were awesome. Grits made the REAL way - and this southern gal would know! Love the little nook setting of the patio seating and we had a great server. Service was *slightly* slow but I imagine it’s cause it was so good (making it v busy!) Love that they had a DJ. We also had the Sinners Paradise, which was v yummy but I must admit it almost tasted a bit like Sangria as opposed to what I thought would be like a hibiscus margarita. All in all, we had a great experience and look forward to going back for Happy Hour!

Knocking down a star and giving an update after my second visit. Unfortunately the service was really lacking this past time. While the food was still very tasty, our server took a verrrry long time to get to our table, and when we asked for more bread, there was a miscommunication (after we’d asked 3 times) that made the bread wait about 30 minutes. Possibly longer. I will say, one of our party got to the restaurant first and requested we sit outside, but when the rest of our party of 4 arrived, it was too hot for another guest, so we asked to be moved inside and they accommodated no problem. I can only think this may have been why it took so long to greet our table and give us water. By the time the server did greet us and bring water, we were fully ready to order.
Maybe it was an off day. But I’m not running to go back.
PS: the fried calamari is more of a fritto misto with a LOT of chickpeas

We came here for my friend’s birthday and had an amazing time!!! Our server was nice on this cold and very busy Saturday night, but the food was what really shined. I highly recommend going with a group so you can order lots of items and share. Take advantage of the specials because they really are good — there’s a reason they’re being featured during that time! We ordered a combo of classics and specials, and shared a bottle of the Makedonikos Tsantali, which was the perfect complement to our food. Highly recommend.

We love this place and find ourselves here time and time again because it is always reliable, delicious, so good and we LOVE it. So does our pup Stella. They’re so good to the dogs outside!
I’m a big fan of the beets salad and the piña colada. My husband loves the burger.
Today we decided to get the avocado toast and it was amazing. I got the piña colada again. Husband got the burger as usual. And then we got oysters during the happy hour and they were excellent.
Our server Maya was just amazing and our pup Stella was smitten with her. Maya brought her water and Stella just loooved on her!
Can’t wait to go back (again… and again…!)
