A 18th century temple dedicated Lord Shiva. Located in Erandwana Gao than Pune Maharashtra.
The Mahabharata describes an incident around the quest for amrit, the nectar of immortality. The devas and the asuras churned an ocean of milk, a process known as the Samudra Manthan, hoping to discover amrit. However, the churning created a deadly poison. The devas knew that the only one who could protect them all from this poison was the powerful Lord Shiva. Shiva gulped down the poison, saving everyone. It was after this that the revered Amrit appeared from the ocean. This is how Shiva came to be known as Amruteshwar
This 18th-century temple honours a unique avatar of Lord Shiva and is situated in the locality of Erandwane, Pune. The temple houses a distinctive idol of Kal Bhairav, a unique manifestation of Lord Shiva. This avatar of Shiva is known as the one who destroys fear, bhairava meaning ‘terribly frightful’, and he protects his devotees from greed, lust, and anger. Traditionally, Kal Bhairav is the grama devata (village deity) of many Maharashtrian villages, where he is referred to as Bhairavnath or Bairavar.
I would say a hidden, beautiful small temple full of positive energy.
