It's definitely one of my favourite beaches in Adelaide. Good sized with plenty of room. Parking close by.

Been swimming here since I was a kid in the 80's and love it. It has just been rebuilt and is perfect. Great spot for families to bring their kids and let them paddle around. Has a ladder leading up to a platform in the corner so you you can jump into the water. Great Beach area running from the wharf down to the Manly Surf n Slide. West Manly Cove beach on West Esplanade is a very family friendly beach as the kids can play away in the pool. The western end up near Manly Pavilion is quite protected from the wind when there is a southerly coming through. Great sized oval that is used for football and cricket. I usually start my walk here before I go into next door. Good sized oval to jog around. Plenty of wild birds around.
