The south end is usually very uncrowded and a great place to walk your dog. Summer and hot nights are different and often best avoided after lunchtime, especially if you are not fond of all the jet ski brigade.

Great kids playground and beach, not to mention a fabulous walking and running trail along the cliff top for several kilometres North. Good coffee shops, a local hand-crafted icecream shop, and a fish and ship shop. Relax on the beach, or walk it.
