It's really special to walk in this unspolit environment, observing the many butterflies and sound of the cicadas.

All of Japan's rail stations, including JR stations, are super impressive in their efficient care of anyone requiring physical assistance. Every single set of JR and other rail staff were super kind and helpful. In my week in Japan I only found one Shinkansen train cancelled, due to a power failure, otherwise all of their trains ran exactly on time to the minute!

I love travelling so now often get recognised by the security staff, which makes me feel valued considering the millions of passengers who whizz through there every year! I often like to photograph the light patterns in the tunnel like passageway that leads from the train station to two of the terminals so it has a visual appeal too.
