We just had to visit. We are stay at Lost Compass Cabin as, directly behind the National Park.
My first Mayan Ruins. I was slightly disappointed. I expected big blocks like they make the Pyramids in Egypt out of. Or Olaytantambo(sp?)
Still, it's an impressive "collection" of stones pilled up in a pretty good set set of buildings. That's an usual way to "👍"

I went to return an item my wife bought. You have to have with you, the card that purchased the item, or you can not get a cash return. Gift Card only.
It's been longer than a decade since my most previous visit. This used to be a favourite haunt.
Things have changed.
It used to get 30 visitors on a busy weekend day. I seen 30 people in the first 5 minutes and lots of dogs too. Too many off leash.
The big trees are mostly gone..
Ha the stumps are barely visible.
It's changed. And yet familiar. And still a great place for a walk, on a beautiful fall day.
The Ontario Bee Rescue is across the road. Too.
