Summer Daines

This is one of my favorite places to bring my kids! We love walking around and seeing the animals (especially the baby pigs!!). It's great to explore and see the animals (for free!) and then be able to let the kids play at the park, and finish off the day with a ride on the cutest carousel.

Gorgeous carousel conveniently located near the Staten Island ferry and an accessible subway stop. We had a great time riding and then playing at the nearby park. This was easily the top activity of our entire trip for my four year old, so I would definitely say it's worth a stop!

The cost is $6 per rider.

We drove around this parking garage for 30 minute without successfully finding a space. They continued to let more and more vehicles enter the garage while there were still no parking spots to be found. The space inside the garage was also very narrow and tight, and hard to navigate any vehicle. We worried we were going to scrape our car. Definitely skip this lot.

The one good thing is they did not make us pay as we exited after not being able to park our vehicle.
