Dined here with my brother and Mom for an unconventional Thanksgiving lunch and we were fairly impressed! I asked for hot water instead of cold, and the server brought me a steaming mug with a lemon wedge—a very nice touch. We ordered pizza. My brother had the Regina (Nodo’s version of a Margherita) and my Mom and I shared a Regina as well as the Borgoricco, a pizza Bianca with zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and burrata. The dough was thin and crispy, though the crust on our Regina was a tad burnt. The flavours were well-balanced and there was a good distribution of toppings.

The restaurant is large and nicely decorated—the bench seats are comfy and I like the historical motif throughout the dining room. Though the servers were kind, their service felt discombobulated. Two servers tending to two tables is two too many; we were interrupted multiple times to be asked how the food was, if we needed more water, etc. I appreciate their attention but having both servers’ attention came off as bombardment.

Overall, it was a yummy meal and the restaurant had nice ambiance. Besides the extensive selection of pizza, pasta, salads, and more, they offer daily features. So, I would definitely return to try some of their other stuff!
