This past weekend (5-6Aug2023) was a singular experience with the addition of Mama Duck (the world's largest rubber duck) to the population of Leonardtown. The Wharf itself was not entirely visible because of this 60' behemoth. Outside of Wharf-fest, the park is a quaint, well maintained, multi-purpose space with sufficient parking for mid-day stops and within walking distance of the "center" of Leonardtown. I've visited to sit on a bench and watch the bay as well as used it as a launching spot for kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. There have been food trucks down there periodically and like I said, it's a short walk up the hill to some nice local restaurants.
