I have been to the 5 week course for absolute beginners where I learned to make things using several methods; pinch pots, coiling, slab building and using the wheel.
I have attended a few times for “private practice sessions” where I had no teaching and could do whatever I wanted (except for using the wheel as I hadn’t done a throwing course.
I loved it all so much I did an intermediate wheel throwing course and I know that won’t be the end of my journey here or with clay.
The teachers are really skilled and very patient! The selection of glazes is fun and all of the equipment is well made and maintained.
I am so glad I took the plunge!
