I'm reading a lot of reviews that seem to be written by people who have never worked in this kind of business, nor run a fast food place.
I started going to White Castle when I was a kid, and am approaching 70 now. My best recollection is of the one on Fordham Road, though it looks nothing like that these days. Still, I like them and when I get the chance to get some without going out of my way, I will.
So today we hit the one in Yonkers, because I wanted to. Service was reasonably prompt, and the food was as expected. The staff was friendly, although the guy who we were talking to seemed to have some difficulty understanding that my lady wanted one packet of mustard to go with her chicken, which we somehow didn't get.
Other than that, we enjoyed the visit.
