Great for a witticism gettaway. Always clean, comfy, and spacious. No better way to do mammoth. Reservations are very easy to make and the arrival and departure hours accomodating.
Nice park -slow down around the bend or you'll miss the entrance and getting back is not easy! The park is nice, small but full of history -it is also the HQ for the San Fernando Valley Historical Society. The adobe is very well kept but access is difficult -you can only walk around the premises.
This is the gardens in front of the San Fernando Mission (very limited parking). The park is well kept, but there is more than one vagrant -I would not recommend at nighttime. However, as a historical site it is beautiful and well kept with nice rose gardens and fountains.
Mills Hall

Visited the site only for the historic Mills Hall and found by accident Julian Morgan (architect, Hearst Castle) piece of work. The site is fantastic and is centrally located in the heart of Mills College.
