06/16/2024 - My family, friends, and I came to celebrate Father’s Day at Milestone 229. I have not been to the restaurant in over 5 years. Nice spherical exterior structure and in the restaurants interior. Modern cool decor with comfortable seating. We were there for almost 3 hours specifically because of the occasion. I ordered the Double Angus Burger w/Cheese, Fries, & Cola. It was good. Sadly one of our platters had something unexpected in it. Management were apologetic, prompt, and removed the damaged order from the bill and provided complimentary desserts to my whole party (Thank you, Milestone 229). Nice size outdoor patio providing nice views of Bicentennial/Galbreath Park and downtown. Friendly service. Per friendly. Decent menu and prices. Nearby parking for a fee (free parking on Sundays).

05/16/2024 - First time visiting The Bluestone for a celebratory event hosted by a YMCA branch. TB is over 100 years old. The exterior looks like a castle, and the interior mansion style time capsule of previous events that have taken place at The Bluestone. The main area is an open space with bar style banisters, there is a stage and the main floor area is wood. There are areas that are carpeted. There is a second floor that serves as a multipurpose area specifically as a balcony overseeing the main area. There are functional bars on both floors. There are massive mosaic glasses that are functional as decor. From concerts to weddings, The Bluestone is a venue that welcomes all genres of entertainment. Nearby parking and a parking lot walking distance to TB. Entry contingent on the occasion.

04/25/24-First time visiting Cafe Illyria. This small and quaint family owned restaurant offers a nice breakfast and lunch menu. The wall decor pays historical homage to Columbus, a few US Cities, Albania, and Illyria. The ambience is that of a European vibe. Comfortable seating either indoors or in their patio. I sampled their breakfast menu and ordered the egg, bacon, home fries, toast, and a coffee. Everything was delicious. Nice and friendly service from the staff. Thank you! Parking out front or across the street for a fee. Decent prices.

03/25/23-First time in over 12 years since I’ve been with Verizon that I got a free cellphone. The only stipulation was to renew my contract for 3 years. Why not? Thank you, Verizon. I ordered a new IPhone 12 while visiting TN. Nice and busy retail store. I was able to place my order online and was given the option to select Locker Pick-Up and it was convenient and fast because again, this store is very busy.

I recently visited The Short North Stage. I have not been in years. A gf of mine invited me for the production of Kinky Boots and it was an amazing show. Everyone did stellar! The place gives a feeling of movie theater, but the events that take place here feels like you are in the cinemas. Nice, friendly and welcoming service. Free parking after a certain time near the theater or nearby parking for a fee. Decent prices.
