Great casual stop for good eats by the water. Lots of drink options. Friendly staff. The deck is dog friendly. They even brought out a water bowl for our dogs, and treats! Restrooms available. Parking can get full quickly nearby.
Delicious homemade Mexican food at reasonable prices with lots of great options. I love their fresh salsas! They also made sure my food items did not have cheese or cream, as I have a dairy allergy. Friendly staff and outdoor patio is dog-friendly.
Nice path around the lake. Restrooms and parking nearby. Dog-friendly, but lots of goose poop - which can be a detriment if your pup enjoys that sort of nasty treat!
Great location to be near the Great Sand Dunes National Park and have a great view from the hotel. Continental breakfast is included and some rooms are pet friendly. They also rent sand boards to guests. The store and restaurant are closed in the winter, so you just have to drive a little farther into one of the towns for food/ supplies.
Nice easy, flat path walk around a lake with a great view of Denver on one side, and the sunset in the mountains on the other. If you go mid-afternoon or later, about half of the trail is shaded. Make sure not to let your dog eat the goose poop though. It can give them diarrhea for a few days. Fortunately we got some probiotics and a special diet from our vet that helped. There are also a porta potty and trash can available in the parking lot. Starbucks is next door, and King Soopers is across the street.
