Hilary Spoun

Wonderful cello and piano concert with surprising range of music played from early to mid 20th century. Composers, all female, recognised or unrecognised on their lifetimes. Some pieces seemed rather short, but overall we would not have liked to have missed this event. Ushers are all helpful and cheerful.

Open to non members. Japanese prints on the staircase are great. Could do with more ventilation in the large function room. Late Victorian splendour and comfort.
